For 50 years now, Alpha Christian Children’s Home and School has been HOME for children who need a safe place to live.  While the circumstances of each child may be different, their common needs are genuine love, compassion, character building and security.  These needs are fulfilled with a loving, faith-building family, a quality education designed just for them, and a secure environment on our rural campus where they can grow, build friendships and experience life as it should be experienced. Alpha is that special HOME for as long as they need us.  Alpha’s homes & school are nestled in a beautiful, country setting on 170 acres of wooded, rural land with scenic ponds, and creeks winding throughout.  Alpha offers children in need:

• FAMILY (opportunity to become a member of a safe, loving family)
• FAITH (learning about a relationship with Jesus Christ)
• FOUNDATION (opportunities for healing, growth, and an individualized academic education) 

Alpha Christian Children’s Home and School was established in 1972 to help children who need a safe place to live.  That foundational goal still continues.  Children who call Alpha HOME include those who are being raised by grandparents who are no longer able to provide the level of care needed, children who have been abused, neglected, orphaned, homeless or poor, children  who need a safe place to live during a parent’s military service or deployment, and children with other needs.  

Alpha is 100% privately funded, and we do not charge tuition to those we serve.  We are always in need of financial support as well as food, clothing, and toys for the children.  We also have a list of special needs.
