Special Needs

Alpha is 100% privately funded, and we do not charge tuition to those we serve.  We are always in need of financial support as well as food, clothing, and toys for the children. 

SPECIAL NEEDS … Can you help with any of these items?

• Alpha House Needs:
  Gas or Wood Pellet Fireplace Insert
  Replace the 50 year old shed with a garage to protect Ministry Van
  Build a Dog Kennel in the yard
  Install a roof below the deck
  Replace part of the chain link fencing
  Remove some trees and clean up brush and such
  Build a small chicken coop
• Grace House Needs:
  6 Bags Grass Seed – $125 each
  Build a roof over a old 1800’s rock barn
  Clean out and seal the pond
  Remove trees and build hiking trails
  Remove rocks and further develop the yard
• Kids & Ranch
  >Sponsors for professional Horse Riding Lessons for a child – $40 each weekly lesson
  >Build a Gazebo or pavilion near the pond for gatherings and fishing days
  >200 Tons Gravel To Refurbish Driveways ($40 per ton) – $8,000
  >Replace the chain link fence at the school with a taller fence to help catch balls and such from going into the woods.
  >Build a 12 x 12 roof over the hay feeder for the animal programs.
  >Lots of Farm fencing needs built or replaced for children’s animal programs.  This is a huge job.  Clear the paths for the fences and then build new fencing.  Will need either steel or hedge corner posts as treated lumber does not last.
  >Replacement Skid Steer to help maintain the property.  We have one, but we are wearing it out.
  >15-Foot Brush Hog or similar to mow and maintain pasture fields.
  >Heavy equipment work to build creek crossings and help maintain trails in the timber for hiking and other activities.
  >Dust Control on our driveways.
  >Small Trinkets & Toys for Kids’ Merit Bucks Store (Dollar Store items and other similar things), especially things that 6th – 12th graders would like.
  >Help With Ongoing Pantry Needs
