Facilities at ACCH

Alpha House

The Alpha House is the original home built for children in 1972.  It is still sheltering boys and girls to this day.

Hope House

The Hope House residence opened in 2014 for girls who need a safe place to go.

Faith House

The Faith House was rebuilt in 2018 after a lightening strike and fire from 2015 devastated the original structure.

Snavely Education Center

Construction of the Snavely Education Center was completed in 1997 with larger school room facilities, a food pantry and storage area, and a shop for vehicle & farm equipment repair and maintenance.

Fishing Ponds

Alpha’s rural acreage includes two lovely fishing ponds which are wonderful for our children and visitors alike to take advantage of!

Animal Program Facilities

There are several full size barns across the ranch which are there for building & vehicle maintenance needs, as well as to facilitate animal program learning for the children.

The children are able to sign up for and participate in 4-H animal programs in our county, which bring so many great learning experiences into their young lives!  Alpha’s farm animal facilities allow them to raise dairy & meat goats, rabbits, and chickens from newly birthed or newly hatched ages.  There are also horses, dogs, and cats around the ranch.

This is a photo of some of the children’s 4-H Boer goats, and a few of the smaller animal sheds in one of the goat raising pens around the property.
